THE STORY OF LABABIS
Real food. Slow crafted. Delivered with love.
LaBabis wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born in my kitchen, where I learned early on that the best things in life simply cannot be rushed.
Born in the vibrant chaos of São Paulo and raised between the lush, slow-paced farms of Minas Gerais, I grew up in a culture where “made-from-scratch” wasn’t a luxury—it was the only way. Whether it was cooking, crafting, or building, everything we did was by hand. It was there I learned the most valuable lesson of all: good things take time.
This is the philosophy that defines LaBabis today. I honour the slow, methodical process of traditional cooking—the way my family prepared their meals with patience and precision. I take the time to hand-craft my authentic Sfihas from scratch, ensuring every ingredient is treated with the respect it deserves.
I believe in the beauty of the slow process, but I also respect your time. By preparing everything with care beforehand, I ensure that when you order, you get the deep, authentic flavours brought to your door quickly. I do the waiting so you don’t have to.
From my family to yours. This is LaBabis. Slow-crafted, handmade, and made for you.
